At this time of the year, Ben & I am reminded of the many Christmases we shared together all these years. Most memorable ones were the days with our children preparing for the holidays with great anticipation reaching a joyous & happy crescendo on Christmas eve. What a site to behold ... their eyes popping out wide open as they unwrapped their gifts. Also seeing less fortunate children they bring with them receive gifts.
Other memories watching them paint windows with beautiful scenes of Christmas. But after the holidays are over, the washing & cleaning became a chore. We then decided to leave some paintings alone and enjoy them while we can throughout the whole year. Yes, Christmas to me is a whole year, daily celebration--to live a life of sharing and giving.
Another Christmas day celebration is here and we are reminded of God's Love to all of us--He sacrificed & gave His only begotten son, Jesus, to die for me and my sins--so I will live!
