It is indeed a blessing to have wonderful neighbors & friends.
Before our neighbor friend's husband left this summer for China where he was assigned to work, he surrounded their patio with beautiful flowering plants & bought a patio umbrella set...a gesture of true love & care for an ailing wife. She is suffering from cancer.

After a few weeks, the flowers started to wither & die. I asked Lyn to give me a chance to take care of her plants and in the mean time offered my own & took them to her patio. She said, "...do anything you want, Esther."

Trimming the dying leaves & cutting the withering stems as short as I could ... each day as I watched & cared for the plants, soon a new leaf started to grow & I thank the Lord for this miracle. With tender loving care, coupled with refreshing sunshine & rain (natural healing), the plants were brought back to another vibrant life!

So amazing to watch God's love...not only to us human beings but also to his inspiring creation, the beautiful flowering plants that make us happy & help ease our ills & sufferings.
All the plants are still surviving!
While we (Lyn & I) are still enjoying the flowers .. her smiles & hugs are more than enough ... when she tells me, "how could I repay you ?"

Psalm 103:1,4, "Bless the Lord....who crowns you (us) with lovingkindness and compassion.."
A comment from a friend:
"Won't it be nice if a sick person (like Sydney) can be watered by HEAVEN just like the wilted flowers and one day he will be healthy and strong again like the potted flowers? This is my prayer for Sydney, but I will also accept Jesus' will. I know Jesus will allow many of His children to go to sleep in Jesus before His coming."
