An ANGEL

GLORI with Esther, Ben & Frank "Together at Last."

I BELIEVE IN ANGELS!

by: Dr. Ben

It has been almost 12 years when an ANGEL came to help me!

On our way to Canada to visit my family whom I had not seen for almost a year after cancer surgery, I suddenly felt a severe, excruciating & unbearable abdominal pain. I stopped our van and asked Esther to take over the driving and to find as soon as possible a hospital. She ended up driving by an ER in Toronto which looked like a deserted place.

Yes, it was eerily quiet & nobody seemed to be around. Esther began to pray with our 2 year old grand daughter. She opened her eyes and behold, a tall and stately lady appeared from nowhere. Esther blurted out in despair, "I need help!" Upon seeing our situation, she approached us quickly and instructed Esther to go to the ER and volunteered to watch me and my grand daughter.

Seven hours later, I was wheeled in the operating room to release an intestinal obstruction.

In the meantime, she entertained & cared for our grand daughter, Deanna; called upon my parents & sisters; then quietly entrusted her over to my mom & dad upon their arrival.

After surgery at The Branson Hospital, I did not have the chance to meet her. We even wondered if we would ever see her again, to thank her personally. Five years later, we did!

This weekend, I got the chance to meet her again and this time with her husband, Frank. It was a CHARM to spend time together to reminisce our encounter many years ago! Fittingly, her name is GLORI (click to open) a wonderful & compassionate lady who helped us in time of our need.

To me and Esther, Glori is our ANGEL!

Yes, I believe in Angels!

GLORI (click to open) is an actress and a recording artist...was the "other woman" (Elvira Evans) in the movie Anne of Green Gables: The Sequel. This movie was one of Esther's all time favorites, which she watches almost every night before my surgery. It was a God-sent Esther met Glori in such a very interesting chapter in our life that we will never forget!

Her gentle (singing) voice inspires Esther the most, especially Glori's sacred hymns.
