New Life & New Beginning

Hello folks,

Last week Esther wrote a heart warming blog of "God's Beautiful Creation," and a finch bird's nest amidst the colorful flowering plants.

When we visited our friends, we watched the mother finch bird perched close by--watching constantly over her four precious little blue eggs.

In the afternoon, Ivan & I wandered around the farm and, "lo and behold...," we found another bird's nest--a Robin nest-- built on one of the farm plowing equipments (hay loader)! We climbed up to get a better view of the six (6) eggs and a newly hatched baby robin bird.

A few minutes later, a tiny beak appeared and a new bird started to come out between the cracked edges of the shell.

We hurriedly called for Esther and the girls to come over and witness a new life & a new beginning! Soon the second egg hatched, followed by another! What a blessing to see these tiny creatures come out to this world--to share their "singing" to human beings.

Well folks, this event remind us of a new life and a new beginning. May all, who have loving relatives and friends who are sick & suffering be comforted--we are longing for that day--in heaven.

Below, check out the pictures & click the videos. You will hear the Amish kids talking in their own language. Also, click the links to read about the "American Robins" and "Song birds of Spring."

Enjoy the rest of the pictures & videos!

Baby Robins Videos

We hear and watch the American robins at springtime, after spending winter South of Canada. They are widely distributed in North America from Florida, central Mexico and along the Pacific coast.

The red breasted click: American Robin is one of the first birds to "sing in the morning & one of the last to be heard at night." They are called the click: Song birds of Spring!"

God's Beautiful Creation by Esther

I think we all have noticed the weather so far is very unusual--sunny & cold today; warm & windy tomorrow; rainy & dreary, then sunny & warm again.

Though I have taken the chance of planting outdoors (..can't really wait) my veggie plants given to me by my friends who started them from seeds & flowering plants are doing well. Surprisingly these plants are so resillient and are tolerating the weather changes.

Make me think how God takes good care of His beloved creation--He's in charge!

We all know that many of us are experiencing what goes on in our country and other parts of the world--bad economy, illnesses, deaths, anguish & sufferings, there's something out there (hope) if only we look for it (His creation).

Like the birds chirping (singing, singing, singing praises); the trees sprouting their new leaves & buds; the flowering plants growing back each year, yes, we too can come back and survive the "weather" in our lives as well.

...and four (4) days later, 4 tiny blue finch eggs!

A very special friend & recording artist who is getting ready to record her beautiful songs emailed this to me-- "After a weekend in the garden….being close to God and all the wonderful blessings that He has shared with me it will be wonderful to be in the studio to sing my praises!"

Yes, a well tended garden is inspiring...a testimony of God's creation! Folks, go enjoy the scenery of His handiwork. Sharing qoutes and some photos that give us joy & make us smile--will, I hope also give inspiration to you all.

"COLT"

When Ben comes home from work & no matter how tired he is when I ask him if he wants to drive to the country he is always willing with excitement. He is rejuvinated! Yes, I find (after all these years) that to make him feel happy after work, a short jaunt to the countryside is one good trick.

A few days ago, we enjoyed watching a newborn horse (2 day old colt) nursing. It is so sweet and beautiful to see--a new beginning for a young foal, frolicking in between feedings and so oblivious of what goes on around him.

...growing fast & now a week old.

Happy spring (winter, winter?) to you all, folks.
