Hello folks,
Esther started raking & tilling our patio garden ready for planting as soon as warmer weather comes. It is surprising to note that in spite of the pre-winter garden preparations we find lot of debris left by old man winter, and a lot of cleaning at that.
We started this year's seedlings indoor early. It is indeed exhilarating to watch the tomatoes & broccoli as they grow every day. Last weekend, we visited our Amish friends and their Green House is a sight to behold -- green veggies seedling beds and beautiful variety of potted flowers & plants . They were started early last January and are now ready...and what a wonderful way to plan for spring gardening.
Yes folks, it is time to prepare your own vegetable garden.
Millie said, she enjoys watching her beautiful flowers as they grow and added, .. "this year I will run out of plants soon." People are buying even before the flowers bloom and the plants ready. Yes, the present economy is doing this -- many are seriously planning to garden this year!
